Marine
The Marine sector was the start-up of Patrick’s career. His apprenticeship and hands on experience at the Malta Shipbuilding gave him great exposure to various trades, technical processes and heavy engineering project management. P&A provides HSEQ Management Systems Consultancy Services to this vital industry. P&A were contracted by Palumbo Shipyards to implement the ISO 9001 Quality Management System which was successfully certified by Bureau Veritas.
Construction
P&A will assist in the planning, implementing, monitoring and review of Health & Safety matters of the Project. We will formulate a Health & Safety Plan, assess risk and propose workable solutions, assist with workplace inspections, advise on issues regarding fire regulations, machinery safeguarding, hazardous substances, Occupational Health & Safety and Environmental Compliance; liaise with professionals. P&A will act as the Project Supervisor in H&S matters covering duties at design, construction / execution stage as per LN88/2018 – Work Place (Minimum Health & Safety Requirements for Work at Construction Sites) Regulations.
Manufacturing & Services
Having worked for over three years as Systems Facilitator at one of the leading Automotive Component Manufacturing Company in Malta, Patrick was instrumental to assist in the implementation and certification of QS9000, and in the preparatory works of ISO 14001 EMS and TS16949 requirements. Patrick has helped various other manufacturing and servicing companies to obtain ISO9000 Certification.
Filming
With a flourishing Film Industry, Patrick has been successfully engaged as H&S advisor on a number of TV and film productions. His role involved: Locations Risk Assessments; Monitoring of set construction; Safety coordination during Filming and Emergency Preparedness.

Events
Safety at public events is paramount. Events can pose high-level risks due to the event itself or due to the size of crowds. The need for greater safety planning is evident. Safety must be enforced throughout the setting up of stage/location, during the event itself, and at demobilisation phases to avoid incidents which may be fatal. P&A assist event organizers in the identification of hazards, assess the risk and identify practical control measures to mitigate the risks. We also provide assistance in Emergency Response Planning. P&A is proud to have been entrusted with the risk assessments and safety inspections for the Valletta Film Festival (2016), Lost and Found Festival (2016) and Joseph Calleja Concert (2016/2015).
